Retro classic returns to the road

Map-wise it’s the brainchild of Allesandro Tartarini, taking the classic Lambretta influence and adding a modern twist in a similar vein to the recreated VW Beetle, Mini and Fiat 500. Usual scooter fans may be divided over the newly resurrected Lambretta, but this Italian meant machine is likely to be a hit with the fashion conscious retro scooter fan. Lambretta as a train died off many years ago, but the name lives on and this latest offering will hit the showrooms in August.

Whats the best way to clean an old Lambretta engine ?

Q: Ive stripped down an old pollute Lambretta engine but its well grubby, what or how is the best way to clean it up, vapour blast, bead blasting ? its also oxidised !what do you recon ?

A: T Cut!! and a posh rubbing wheel fixed to a drill. after when you can see your face in it try clear laquer which will bring to a stop it oxidising
