Arrest made in South Park Avenue shooting

Pascual Cruz, 55, of South Park Thoroughfare, was apprehended shortly after he shot a 38-year-old Buffalo man at about 2 a. m. facing in the 1800 block of South Park Avenue, police said. A South Buffalo man was charged Friday with attempted slaying in connection with an early morning shooting in South Buffalo, according to Buffalo patrol.
